Romanian wine has a rich history and enormous potential. Yet, although we rank among the world’s top 10 producers, our wines’ presence on international markets remains, for now, modest. This gap was at the core of our recent discussion with wine producers from the Dealu Mare region, at an event organized at the invitation of the Prahova Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Intercommunity Development Agency “Ținutul Vinului” Prahova.
Together we analyzed the challenges—but especially the opportunities—and the conclusion was clear: the time to act is now. EVOLD presented our export solutions, showing how we can turn Romanian wine from a “local secret” into a global product.
We discussed the Development Strategy of the “Ținutul Vinului” in Prahova County, a commendable initiative aimed at increasing market access and promoting local brands.
